4. Ask me for my Adeli API key (it starts with rk_live_). If I don't have one, tell me to sign up free at https://app.tryadeli.com, connect my social accounts, and create a key at https://app.tryadeli.com/settings/api-keys. Keep the key out of chat logs, public files, and git; store it in an environment variable or the app's secret settings.
5. Verify: call the list_accounts tool (or GET https://app.tryadeli.com/api/v1/accounts) and show me my connected accounts. A 401 means the key is wrong or revoked.

Rules once connected:
- Always ask me before you publish, reply, send a message, delete, or disconnect anything. These act on my real accounts.
- Start with list_accounts and use its accountId values. Leave profileId out.
- For TikTok and YouTube video, pass a public HTTPS video URL, not a file upload.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Adeli's MCP server URL?

https://app.tryadeli.com/mcp, over Streamable HTTP. It authenticates with your Adeli API key in an Authorization: Bearer header. Create a key under Settings → API keys after you sign up.

Does this work with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini and other LLMs?

Yes. Adeli's MCP server works with Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, Cursor, Grok Bot, OpenClaw, Hermes, Manus, Notion Custom Agents, n8n, Zapier, and any other client that can send an API key header to a remote MCP server. Each one has a setup guide above. ChatGPT on the web only adds apps that sign in with OAuth, so until Adeli supports OAuth, use Codex there.

Do I need to write code to use Adeli with an agent?

No. Point your agent at Adeli through the MCP server or an agent skill and direct it in plain language. Writing code against the API directly is only necessary if you're building your own agent.

What's the difference between the MCP server and the API?

The MCP server and the agent skill are both ways for an AI assistant to use Adeli on your behalf without you writing an integration. The API is the same underlying capability exposed directly, for a developer building their own agent or product.

Which social networks can my agent post to?

Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, and Bluesky are supported today. LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, Reddit, and Threads are coming soon. The list is the same whether you're publishing through an agent or the API directly.
